Burgess Hill may not be the centre of the universe but the guys at SEOS develop the gadgets that make you think it is.

Sussex-based SEOS develop and supply display sytems for simulators and planetariums all over the world. In fact, every US astronaut trains in simulators fitted with SEOS equipment.

When Day1 were asked to present ideas in a 4 way pitch to SEOS, we were by no means the front runners. Tina Carter explains...
'For a start, this is completely new territory for us. SEOS are working in very challenging markets, with extremely diverse audiences typified by on the one hand, the US military, and on the other, huge visitor attractions like the Hayden Planetarium. We had to find a way to encapsulate what SEOS do – and ensure that it talks to all of their audiences. Not an easy task!'

Day1 won the pitch with a controversial proposal which played on the concept of virtual reality – promoting the excellence of the technology that goes into the display systems that SEOS are renown for.
