What we're working on...

Day1 is a small, long-established, ex-London studio with a big work ethic. We love problem solving and creating viable solutions that give our clients the successful outcomes they are looking for. Unusually, we plan, design, create/edit content and produce in all media.

For a team of six (plus our valued associates) we have quite a lot of stuff going on – this is what we are doing as March 2013 approaches and there are lots of interesting opportunities in the pipeline.   • Argent FM We have worked with this London facilities management company for four years, completing a root and branch rebrand, design and production of cross-media marketing materials, and internal systems. We continue to work closely with Argent to improve their case history and formal content archives to support what has become a very successful period of new, government and non-government contract bidding.   • Crickmay Crickmay has asked us to rebrand them and develop their marketing communications, including a new database-driven website. An established SE England commercial property agency and consultancy group, Crickmay serves an impressive blue-chip client base.
  • Fairview Sailing We are working with Fairview, the leading bareboat charter company in the UK, on the development of a new 'club' initiative to encourage more charterers to enjoy yachting with their familiars at lower cost. The project involves design and production of sub-brand identity and promotional material.
  • Millendreath In early 2012 we won a competitive pitch to develop a brand and communications plan and delivery for a regeneration project in SE Cornwall. The £50m Millendreath Project will transform this rather run down and forgotten holiday park that lies in a beautiful valley running down to a sheltered private beach. Existing chalets will be restored, followed by a new-build programme of up to 150 waterfront, valley side and woodland holiday homes, with a spectacular spa centre as its centrepiece.   • Jo Twine and Perducta Jo Twine is heading up the team at Perducta who create business cases for local governments covering education, business and capital programmes. We are working with them on their brand, website and marketing strategy.
  • Team Army Day1 has worked closely with the Army and Ethos to establish a brand and campaign support for a range of initiatives to generate funds for all 37 Army sports associations and the Royal British Legion.   • Beautiful Lawn Day1 has created a visual identity and marketing communications for a long-standing client who has moved from IT business ownership to launching a lawn care organisation to compete in a highly competitive growth market.   • Esprit de Corps In partnership with our long established client Britannia Corporate Events and training and coaching organisation Inflection, we are developing a team effectiveness brand to support a unique offering of high level management training and performance management programmes in a range of styles from part classroom/part sailing residential courses, to full blown offshore sailing challenges. We are developing a complete communications strategy and cross media marketing communications for this new brand, and we are co-investing in it.
  • Institute for Sustainability We have several projects underway with the Institute, including identity, brand guidelines, websites, literature and exhibition for European Commission transport initiatives and UK industry advisory schemes, all won through competitive tender.   • Monaghan Mushrooms We have worked on campaigns and initiatives with Europe's largest (on a truly impressive scale) mushroom producer for three years, on graduate recruitment campaigns, research sub-brand development and internal communications.
  • Prōject One of our most enjoyable and challenging recent projects has been renaming, branding and repositioning of one of Oracle's most successful resellers, formerly Projected Consulting. In addition to creating a new identity, website and marketing communications, we have delivered brand guidelines and internal systems templating.   • Watret We have worked over two years with Watret, a long-established Hertfordshire facilities management company, to help them win hard-fought competitive tenders.
  • Brighton and Hove Albion We are working with the Seagulls to launch a cancer-awareness campaign across Sussex. Our contribution includes campaign identity and promotional collateral.
  • Ethos We are founding partners of a network-based organisation that combines the senior (and junior) experience and expertise of a wide range of contributors to solve complex problems, from all walks of public and private sector industries, services and institutions.   • INTO Continuing from our original brand development and international communications partnership with INTO, we are now working with them on reviewing and improving their global corporate communications standards to support the organisation's rapid growth and influence on higher education practice around the world.
  • OpenHydro We named this leader in renewable hydro-power generation in 2006 when they entered the market having taken over development of a Florida-based research project to produce a submarine tidal turbine. We have worked with them on all of their corporate communications since. OpenHydro is now leading the field, with the backing of one of Europe's largest energy providers. We are currently designing the 2012-13 annual report.
  • Relish ™ This is a sustainability-orientated project for a consortium of clients including Rydon, Faithorn Farrell Timms (FFT) and Worthing Homes, originating and building campaigns to help educate social housing residents across the UK to save money on their energy bills, as taught to them by our creation Reggie Relish!
